[E-mail the author] A lot of people believe items that go out of fashion will one day be fashionable again... How else would you explain BMW's Mini? The original VW Beetle was a popular car in its day and, at the time, was seen as quite fashionable. The New Beetle that followed was a lot more, well, girly than the model it replaced and so had limited appeal, which saw sales slump soon after its launch. Now, VW has launched its latest Beetle with the hope that it brings back memories of the first Bug but with a more modern spin on it. Juliet McGuire drove it in and around the streets of Berlin. In other news, we caught a glimpse of Honda's next CR-V. This SUV has proven to be a huge success for the company. The new one will have big shoes (er … tyre treads?) to fill.
